Picked up an ek9 shell today and the bootlid glass is smashed. The shell is going to be used as a track car so doesn't really need to be original ek9 glass. We have a complete ek3 boot lid, how easy is it to swap the glass?

What other options is there? I live on an island so getting an original shipped over would probably end up with it smashed....

Thanks in advance

Don't think removing the glass from the rear window would be an easy task at all mate and if u went clear glass on the rear ud be better changing the rest to clear or tinting it or something, worst comes to worse spray or carbon wrap the boot lid you have there and use it

If its a track car why not fit polycarb / lexan windows? save some weight.

Thanks for the suggestions, is there a pre cut kit of lexan/polycarb windows available to buy online?

Where abouts are you?
I could px a white bootlid with clear glass for your white one with smashed if you want.

I have a window sat in my garage, but obviously there's no getting it to you if you're over water.
Plastics4performace do a rear screen. I got mine from buddyclubuk

Hi, I'm in Guernsey so it would have to be posted if anybody is willing to wrap one up so it would survive the journey :)

I got a boot with rear glass that's coming off in next couple of weeks if that's any good to you let me know
