Oil Pan Question

Hey guys, i am wondering if a first gen B16A oil pan with fit on a B16B motor.
When i took my B16B tranny off it seems like they were different.
Also it seems to me like there are about 4 bolts on the B16B oil pan that are under/inside the tranny bell housing.
and i know there is that stupid cover on the old B16A tranny that covers a few bolts.
so i just need to know if the oil pans are interchangable.

they are not interchangeable. the oil pick ups are different between the b16a & b16b.

B16a pan will NOT fit B16b
but
B16b pan will fit B16a

hey thanks for the offer, but i got another motor with pan already in the garage, just need to know that the tranny bolts up so i can swap some things around.
so it will bolt up thats great!!! thanks for the quick response!!

ive got a quick question and figured this would be the best thread to ask it in. Ive got a d16y8 and the oil pan has a leak i was wondering what other oil pans will bolt up to it.
