what oil is best for fast road and mabie a bit of track? 10-40 motul? where can i get this from online?
 
I just use Castrol GTX 10w40, anything thinner seems to be a waste as it just burns it.

£18 from halfords for 4L.
 
mobil 1 0w-40 and not had any burn on me what so ever and the car runs perfectly :)

not cheap but you may as well get something decent
 
wow it is true, wen i done my b16a2 conversion i didnt know this and used ep80w90 and drove it for about 3 days like it until a friend of mine kindly told me! lol now my gearbox i knakered but wen i first started it, it was noisy from start up got a little quieter with the 80w90 could this have knakered the input shaft bearing? iirc those bearings are lubed buy the gbox oil right?
