so i got an OBD0 B16A motor for free from a friend, it runs fine.
i have a real EK9 and i dont want to destroy that motor,
so i plan to do a turbo setup on the B16A and put it in my EK9,
my real question is what harness and what work do i need to do so i can put the OLD style motor in my NEW style car. remember the motor going in is OBD0 and its going into an OBD2b.
i am thinking distributor harness and computer with comp harness.... anything else???
oh yeah, i am in japan, so the motors are all JDM motors, no USDM stuff over here!!! ha ha
thanks for your help guys!!!

Hi Sturvin,

You dont need any adaptor harness, Just use the OBD2b harness thats on you B16b. And use you B16b distributor/ancillaries :nice:  Turbo'9

You will also need to use an obd2b intake manifold as well as the dizzy and alt. YOu'll need to change some of the sensors in the block to obd2 ones as the obd0 ones are diff plugs to obd2. But it can be done fairly simple.

Nice!! thanks a lot guys, that makes it real simple.
i thought the distributer was different, but its not the distributer bolts that are different, just the dist cap that has different bolt style!!! so it does bolt on.
great info thanks a million!!! :nice: :nice:
