Nurburgring 2010 EK9.org trip.


Just rang insurance company to check european cover is added to my policy, which it is - result - so informed them i'm "travelling to france and popping up into germany between 2nd apr and 6th apr" :D

Villa + Ferry booked today also, Ian - i booked myself onto the 2am ferry so hopefully can keep the convoy going as smooth as possible ;-)

Just need to service car / fit parts and sort travel insurance (did you guys use anyone particular?) then i'm good to go :D :D

Got the paperwork through for my ADAC cover today. Just got to pay the 79.50 euros. Seeing as the letter is all in german and my german is not at all good, could anyone enlighten me how they paid? Obviously i rang up,took out cover and they sent me paperwork, just not sure how to pay now.
 
Sooooooo..... Not long to go guys, i'm excited! :D

Everyones cars ready? I've got a couple things to do, oh and bought a couple spare R888 too :lol:

I paid over the phone... give them a call back with your proposed membership number and ask to pay by card I guess. :nice:

If not take a pic of the letter and send it to me... I'll translate ;)
 
Ive still got a load left to do, a few things ive been doing are optional i suppose but things i believe that would help my car with this trip, well still loads :(
 
yeah real tight. Money is the real issue more then anything. I need to get payed so i can order some parts!!

Nope! getting there though, being a pansy as usual! :p But just got to fit aerocatches, spark plugs and ITR rad thats it to be ready for germany!!! :D

You'll be fine! Looks like i'm moving out before germany aswell so got move and car prep to do! No overtime for the rest of this month i think! :angry:
 
Going up to DMS on tuesday to get some hardrace RTA bushes (old ones are shot) and alignment done, then got plugs / box oil / engine oil / filter + fuel filter all sitting in my bedroom, a/c out and full width rad in....but once thats done... I'M READY!! :D

Literally cannot wait guys!

Sweet buddy! My RTA's could do with freshening up but after the ring me thinks. Mine are still ok.

Cage goes in this week hopefully with the seats and harnesses, then at the weekend new discs, hoses, fluid and pads all round + coolant, thermostat and clutch fluid change. :win:

So we've all gone rushing out to get our faboulous ADAC cover, but i've just found the following

"I'm still receiving totally contradictory info about ADAC recovery - some saying that an ADAC truck accepted their card and others saying it was refused. The position appears to be rather random at present ... "

On a random page on Ben's 'ring site, Ben Lovejoy's Nurburgring Nordschleife site

Hopefully one of you chaps are going to me thats old, out-dated and wrong! Did anyone check with ADAC before taking out their policy? I didn't! might give them a ring in the morning...
 
All you need to do is supply me the date when your going to be there and how many cars/people are going.

I do charge for the pictures but ill make sure you get a discount.

Also I will do a screensaver of all the cars after the trip as a thankyou.

Just keep me in the loop of your plans and ill work round you guys, perhaps might even meet you en-route (o:

Dont know what day these guys are going. Im going 21st-26th june but im not sure whats day will be our track days
