lol, well at least you can ask anyway, might make them think and admit it, as they are smaller business than Kwik Fit etc, so want the business and not any bad word on there services.

Update for this! Went to see my trusted mechanic on Monday and showed him the damage, he said he would make a few calls to the MOT place.

I called him back today to see whats going on and he says no one knows about it. So no surprises there then! He also said that he doesn't know what to say about it. So he now feels bad about it even tho it wasn't him.

I am still pretty mad about it but I know I have no leg to stand on with this so I just got to suck it up. Shame really.

Looks like I'll be going elsewhere for my MOT next year.

have you tried financial ombudsmen or trading standards??

leave them a bad review on checkatrade too

no not spoken to any of them about it. As I don't have any real proof, didn't think it was worth it.

what proof do they expect, a CCTV video of them doing it? lol

Thats **** mate This is why I always hang about when i'm getting my m.o.t done or getting any work done. I've had my car back with torn seats, defects in the body work that weren't there before etc and they never really own up to it.
