Some of you know I have blew my engine at Silverstone 2 weeks ago at the qualify because of one faulty injector, we got the engine rebuild straight away and got my engine back last Friday, thanks Julian (rarerims) for the Benson block!

Tonight we put the loom and all the hoses back on and lifted the engine, its all ready to put it back tomorrow evening.

Now I have a proper 2 liters block with 13.2-1CR CP piston, hope this engine gonna last for a while

looking good dixon, let us know how teh mapping goes and any power figures?

what other modifications does the engine have?

The list is pretty long, here you go -

Lighten B18C Type R valve
3 Angle valve
Port polish and matching
Polish intake manifold and port matching
Polish rocket arms
ARP head bolts
Skunk2 68mm throttle body
Toda Cambelt

Block
BENSON'S BLOCK
CP 7.7cc dome 85mm forged piston (13.2-1 Compression ratio)
Jun con-rods
ARP con-rods bolt
Jun lightweight crank shaft
Balanced and micro polished crankshaft
Custom made Aluminum 5 main girdle
ARP Main bolt

Moroso race sump
Toda version 2 manifold
Exedy 3 spoke racing metal clutch

KAAZ 1.5 way clutch plate diff

Thats about it for the engine and gearbox part

mega spec! custom block girdle sounds interesting, similar principle to teh spoon block brace,,

Yes its similar to the Spoon girdle, we need that because the engine stay above 9500rpm most of the time and we need the block as stable as possible.

Hey dude!
Good luck with the new engine.Sigh...I miss racing..I did the Malaysian series with a collaboration with a Singapore team using a special EK9...anyway..what management system are you using?

Dyno is on 15th June at Surrey rolling road as I am flying to Japan tomorrow so no time to get it map now

8) 8) All back together now, this new engine sounds more aggressive than the last one properly due to the high compression and being 2 liters now. Throttle respond was so sharp like having a ITB and the noise is so much deeper :D

Z10 has something similar too from what I recall, but possibly not as beefy.

There have been some posts on HT regarding poor fitment and well...imo, a piece like this is not something that is just plug and play. Line boring might be necessary...at least IIRC.
