Need yet another part...

slight oversight with very little time left to get this thing put together...

The new block has female style fitting for the oil filter and the old has male.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the adaptor I need? Male to male?

Normally the water jacket is retained by a threaded mal/male adaptor. Is that missing?

The part number in the picture is correct, as I just got one for mine,

Unless for some reason you want to run the oem heat exchanger?

If you can find 2 m20 hub nuts you may be able to lock them together and get the fitting out of the old block

That was suggested but with the centers of two old oil filters, has been done before, but if it's cheap i'd rather get a new one.

Could be an option if it's on back order or something though, hopefully it's not!

Late to this party but I've done the same to my block with the picture from b16mini.
