Hello.
I have a couple of questions considering engine loom differences.
I want to get everything right so I am gathering some info .
My plan is:
Engine is a b16a2 from a 1998 vti, obd2a.
I have sourced a engine loom with ecu and key from a 2000 vti obd2b.
I am going to mount the engine in and use the obd2b engine loom from the 2000 vti.
As far as i know it should all be plug&play, just the dizzy connector is different so either i am going to find a obd2b dizzy or modify the connector/cables.
I am going to cut open the 2000 vti key and glue the code chip directly to my lock.
(My present key doesn't have a code in, so i cut opened my old key which was worn out and glued it on .
Is there anything else? Am i forgetting something?
I would really appriciate any help guys.
Here's also a quick snap of my car, just so that the thread doesen't look so dull
