Just back from the biggest roadtrip of my life, thought a few of you would like to have a glipse of what i got up to
Its started alot later than planned, and after touching speed limits we made rosslare just as the ramps were going up staff were not impressed, one set of red lights would have ended everyhting before it started.
Hit France (drive on the wrong side, drive on the wrongs side thats all i could here in my head) headed for our first stop off Caen, lovely little village. Took a spin out to Omaha beach this place is just breath taking and so hard to put into words especially the memorial.
Left Caen and hit the road for Paris, i wasnt really looking forward to Paris but i loved it, the amount of car show rooms showing off new concepts was amazing (more pics to come) Done the whole touristy thing only alot faster.
Left Paris for Luxembourg but made a stop off at Disneyland to put on our serious faces for the cameras Killed a bit of time while driving trying to find that damn wally.
Luxembourg,oh what a let down, you could drive through it in a blink of an eye, nothing of interest at all.
Got up super early and left for Germany, we were heading to a little village of Nurburg it has a nice road i allways wanted to drive on called the nordschleife also called the nurburgring you might know it
Hit our Hotel the Linder congress (oh yeah) when we parked in the car park we felt a little over our heads, there was at least 20 AMG mercs!!!! then out side of the lobby......... 3 R35`s!!!!
No giving out about the dirt of the car, we made a promise not to wash it the whole trip
Hit the track, it was unreal i never felt so excited/nervous/scared/happy in my life, took the first few nice and easy to get a feel for traffic and the track. the feeling of flying down a straight and being overtaken by porche after porche and then a gumpert then to hit the carousel and just go for it. The amount of confidence i got from it in myself and my car is just unreal.
On the 3rd day there the track was closed so we decide to do a bit of drinking, this ended up with us getting escorts back to our hotel, no not that kind the police kind not a good thing when your in the plushest spot in the place :mad) and on the last night
Left Germany to hit home but had 2 spots left to hit Amsterdam and Newcastle ill keep these 2 quick Amsterdam is a kip and newcastle rocks as allways but we were too wrecked to enjoy it.
Ive 100s more pics but i shot in RAW so its taking time to convert and upload
Hope you have enjoyed it ill post some more when i get a chance.
