LOL.type IIs are valved totally different. They can go soft comfy, and then, my favorite, nice and stiff. Truly a great coilover IMO.

Very nice build buddy, I'm saving up to invest on some Type II's myself! How do you like it?

Thanks Chrispy! Would I recommend them? heck yes! i love them. best coilover for the price. I see your in CA, so hit me up when you need some I might be able to get you a break on some.

OTB, I'd say w/ customized spring rates, like on the F&F 2.5's they'd blow tein flex's away. I Loved my one's so much, I wanted to upgrade to the II's because I plan to track the car. After talking to a rep. they explained that II's are best engineered for that purpose.

9/10 My buddy tells me he wants to buy my sohc, this is about 1 wk into September. He and I iron out the details, etc and he buys my LB. With that deal, it puts me right back on track w/ my engine build.

9/22
All I need now are the ECU, Dizzy cap, Plug wires, plugs, & throttle cable, which I'm going to order tomorrow.

Today, I got in order - My CTR bumpsticks, Base vtec solenoid gasket, vtec solenoid gasket, thermostat, and ordered hardrace shift linkage bushings, Real CH shift extender, gsr shift lever, new shifter bushings, ES Mount inserts 5pcs. to be safe, although I'm using mugen mounts.

and the shop began final assembly of my block

was having a few cel's running an A04 ECU. Being my car is a 96 it does not have a fuel tank psi sensor like acura 98+. So I hit Mike up and asked him for some pointers and fixes. He told me either an a02/3 ecu should be the fix. After I realized a02 = 96 a03 = 97 and so on, I quickly began the hunt for an a02.

Long story short, put my a02 on yesterday and wallah, no codes yet ( fingers X ) Idles beautifully @ 900rpm-ish vid

just for fun compilation/test drive on p72-a02 vid

almost there, just need to find a p/s pump, T-off the cruise control, tune and do the a/c lines! Drove her last night, felt good! Might go cruising tonite hehe

here's a pic of the bay, I had to spiff it up a bit, bay was dirty, so when meet pics surface it will look dingy. That thought disturbed me.

wooooooooooooooo weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee so I just got home from a road trip! I took a nice 168 mile round trip to pick up these things. My new daily wheels. It was a nice drive, helped me quickly add some break-in miles to my setup. Clocker is now @ 470+ miles. Time for oil change #3.

Needs some TLC , missing 2 caps, needs tires, etc, but that can all be worked out in due time. ;)

and I think I will be needing some 5-10mm spacers to clear these beauties

did some fiddling around , looks like the BBK will clear OEM 15's just fine! I may add a 5mm spacer for when my other wheels arrive ;).

1287437360.jpg

alright guys my last update for now............ I dropped this off at the wheel doctor! :)

1288212613.jpg

Got my rim back from the shop today. Only cost about $65, for Perfection!! No pic sadly as I dropped them off to get powder coated. Can't wait til they get back, and sadly I still need those 2 center caps to hurry up and get here. :(

So guys I haven't been driving my car since I last failed smog at the ref station. Shortly after that it threw a rich/lean code. I decided it was finally time to give it some sort of tune for now. I've been shopping around and finally found an apex neo at a very affordable price. I just picked it up today, and I'd like to get it wired up tomorrow am to go vafc tune it. I will hide it in a discreet location then attempt bar once again.

Ok just got back, I had to dart away in a hurry to grab this sweet deal. 01 ITR pump for $35! Yay me! 2 deals 1 great day!

Got my P/S pump on yippy! Then I wired up my NEO, not to bad, w/ the right tools this task is a cinch. So my appointment to tune is Thursday AM, and maybe, just maybe that day I will make another bar appointment.

My VAFC Tuned B18c1-R by IMPORTAUTOPROS & built by Nastie Garage

scan0001-1.jpg

Wow. That's nice n smooth. Looks like it wouldn't mind another 200-300rpm.

Your absolutely right. The car went lean on all stock fuel system w/ VAFC at 208whp, so he de-tuned it to what's on the graph. I'm gonna make some changes after the car passes state ref. Hoping to extract some more power from it.

small update - sold my stock bumpers, so I must start the sir yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

now it's onto....buying paint tomorrow

how to fix a warped bumper LOL

and so my car doesn't look like a wreck yard so "Diy priced Paint." I went out and bought a quart of paint for my Mirrors, bumpers, grill, trunk, wing, and fender,...............don't have enough $$$ to paint the whole car yet, supplies wise. Now that I see how beautiful my e-buddy pete's car is I think I will save for another quart and some primer, and sealer.

Spent some time working on the bumpers today. I was so tired of hand sanding I went out and bought my friend a DA sander as an early Christmas gift. It did the work I did in 1 hour in secs. LOL.

First, before I left my house I test fitted my re-shaping of the bumper, oh so flush! MMMMMM
1291253027.jpg

1291253042.jpg

so sanded down to final 220 then 320 to remove some wounds from the 80 grit.

Sorry guys I've been multi-tasking today. Running here and there Exerting myself. I'm already tired @ 6:00. Laid my gloss coats down today on my parts. Very awkward. This clear liked to be applied heavy to smooth orange peel, but, ran easily trying to achieve that smoothness. Grrrrrr
