Well, this is my Nippon race car - I ended up cloning my K20 EK9 with this EK4 SiR I picked up at xmas as a (very) bare shell. I totally re-wired it from scratch (it actually came with absolutely no wires), replaced most panels and swapped most of the bits from my EK9. I even managed to get it MOTd for the very first time and got it registered (as it was an import)

It's debut (as well as mine!) is at the Nippon Challenge at Pembrey next weekend!

What happened to the EK9 then?
 
Very nice!!! i aim to build something like this in the next few years! looks like a lot of hard work went into it:nice: good look with the race:D
 
Thats looks pretty mean. I dont really like the bonnet scoop but i suppose u needed it for cooling and air flow...

Now that's a racecar done right! Love it.

You don't really need that rear lip right? You could even cut away about half the rear bumper to save weight and gain airflow.

I guess it's a street legal car so you can't gut the doors?

Can you give the full specs on it?
 
Yep, keeping the EK9 shell for a rainy day (when I total the SiR:D)

EK4 SiR shell with custom million point roll cage:nice:
K20A2 engine, stock bottom end, custom cams, clockwise motion roller ITBs running OBR EFI Euro 1 ECU
Hytech custom 4-2-1 header and custom 2.5" -3" exhaust
K20A2 box with Kaaz plated diff
All DC2 running gear (subframe, rack, hubs, RTAs, lower arms etc.) all polybushed
Alcon 298mm 4 pot brake setup
Tein Type REs with uprated damping, 18kg F 14Kkg R
Skunk 2 Camber and arms.
Whiteline rear ARB
DC2 front ARB
Pro Race 1 Wheels

How long did she take to build?? wat cage is that "custom cages" ??
