my ek9 1/4mile times


I was there aswell yesterday, and managed a time of 15.431 @ 89.3 MPH. That was in an EK4 - K&N Panel Filter, Decat and Mugen Catback.
 
my few first runs in my ek9 at crail last year I ran 15.3s all day but each time i went back I got better. best I have ran is 15.1 and that was just with a 4-2-1, tanabe system and j's intake, but I have some good mods and mines is stripped out now so should do better this year!! :)
 
did a low 15" time with bad start, bad track and bad tyres... and a bad reaction time of 0.6 sec :angry:

just spoon ecu, complete catback and decatpipe...

looking forward to eastern... next 1/4mile contest... hope i can beat the 15 now with new tyres and new clutch :nice:
 
done 14.8 in me ek4 vti with a stock engine with only a back box & 98 spec manifold at pod
 
yeah we need a better strip in Scotland

the surface at Crail is shite

Anyone know of anywhere ?

did a 14.9 with my b16, hopefully do less than a 14.5 with the b18c
 
I know they used to use Edzell

I think they only got to do it once and the locals complained about the noise, so no more

There must be other old airfields etc about
 
they should just make a new one! The money everyone pays to go to crail all year they could afford to buy a bit of land and make a strip no botha! :)

But they are not allowed to resurface due to it be listed land (or something similar)

the other ek9 was me the fastest we could get the 9 all day was 16.02 and it had 4 people trying all it has is a hks silent power cat-back

the wife had the 4dr teg that was there she got 15.1 and she only had it for a week so lower times to come i think

remember crail is up hill there was a 10sec 600bhp new shape skyline and all he could manage was 11.4
 
15.9 in my standard fiesta st... so thats a pretty terrible time tbh

15.1 with a very sick B18C6 (40psi, 150psi, 130psi 240psi compression readings... lol)
 
I would of thought EK9's would set better times than 15's and mid 14's
My EG6 ran constant low 14's with best of 14.22 with only:
Supersprint 4-2-1, 2.25 manifold
2.5 full system (spoon N1 box)
Foam drop in pannel filter
15" Goodyear Eagle F1's
and the rear seats removed
