Yes, i'm located in Hong Kong which here is the hell for ppl who wants to modify/race their car. No tracks, no reliable / skillful techician, road condition & cops are ****..

Planning to go B20 vtec, and will part this car out right after. Actually i'm starting to clean my garage already, selling the Tein Flex and brand new spoon caliper, more parts will be post later after i sorted out what i got in there..

Reason selling it? Need a bigger car may be a Van for my 2nd child and family..

Where do you go dyno your car? "EK4_SiR" on the board here has had really good luck with the guys from HDi (dynapack) and it's probably because they are Australian Chinese and not the local hacks.

How soon are you going to put together the B20 and how extensive do you intend to go? :p

Not at this moment, but surely it won't sell together with the car. I might sell it or keep it :)

I go Top Racing, last time i went there without header/spoon exhaust/PFC, i got 159whp.

So EK4_SiR is located in Hong Kong as well? Does he knows any good mechanic shop can work on the B20 or B18 motor?

B20 Or B18 project will most likely starting at October, any advice or suggestion?:)
 
As has been said the nicest ek4 saloon ive seen to date!!! Just out of curiosity what money would you be looking fo the car???

no idea... since i'll parting out the car, never think of selling everything together so i haven't think of the price.

I wish i have a HB, either EG or EK, they both are a legend!

This was done on the e-manage blue though. I honestly hope your car at least has a safe tune. With his permission, he might be willing to share his graphs.

I will talk with him to see who he thinks is reputable enough to build the B20/B18. As always, I have suggestions and ideas, but it will largely be dependent on your power goals and most importantly your budget. If you're at liberty to share those with us, we can give you some ideas in return. :)

FYI, there is a shop quote me 17K for a complete B20 vtec engine including installation, using the piston which comes with the B20 engine, and all other parts are new. For new piston, they quote me for 20K for an aftermarket brand piston. They refuse to tell me the brand name of the piston, but he told me it is a factory in China who produce the piston for a really famous US brand B20 kit. (I don't know whether he really means it).

My budget would be around the same for a B20 built. In fact, i'm always fantasy on getting around 220whp but now, i come down to using all the current stuff i have, Toda A cam, itr valvetrain... etc, and only a fine built B20 block. So i don't really have a goal but i just hope when things comes together i can at least reaching 200whp..

TP quoted me $6K for setting up the PFC and i refuse to let them do it. And i end up let me frd to find me the basic B16B mappin with vtec turn on at 5K and red line at 9K. Will go on dyno before i go B20 to see the difference.

If in fact you feel the shop is reputable and can supply you a motor with aftermarket pistons for 20k and the compression is in the mid 11:1 or high 11s low 12:1, I would opt for that option with a keen eye on venting the valvecover/crankcase properly.

I would ask if the pistons are forged or simply cast though. If it's some famous company in the US, I would guess maybe crower.

What header do you have on their in terms of brand?

Thanks RA! Trusting at least i have to know whether is it forged and make sure what CR i would obtain for such set up!

Currently i'm using the Tri-Y header and asked the seller it fits on all B16, B18 & B20.

Really looking forward to go dyno in coming weekends. Does EK4 knows any place here for dyno test other than Top Racing?
 
What brand is this Tri-Y header...if you don't know, what does it look like? Any chance you can post a pic?
