how you getting on with this? whats the deal with that s2k in the background man?

it's always a gamble as to how long it was running while upside down,

sucks but at least this way you get a fresh bottom end and some time / scope to get some nice parts in there. the bottom end on my car i'd ideally like to freshen up but intil i pay off the loan i took out to rebuild the head, it's liable to stay as is,

short term loan for some upgraded parts makes sense if you don't have the cash lying around as you only want to be doing this once?

arp's are a good investment if you do want to take it apart in the future though

good luck

Lewis

car looks mint mathew cant wait to see it in the flesh  u headin up to crail?

yeh standard ecu at the time.

i took a chance and bought a full car with a b18c swap whitch i broke for parts.

the car had been upside down, but at the price i paid for it/how much iv made back it was worth the risk. just annoying im having to spend money iv set aside for other sheit

Ahhh sorry to hear about the engine, i only had the car 4 day so didnt really know the full story about it....

there was a fair bit of kit on there so hope you made the money back

which i unfortunately didnt, that civic cost me the best part of 5k :(

strange day to bump this since i was about to update it haha.

nah nah defo didnt blame you jason, you wernt to know at all man.

anyway, today the car got trailered down to my mechanics where my completly rebuilt b18c is waiting in. engine and box are in the car and are getting plumbed in tommorow, car will be on the road for run in for the weekend :scared:
