Also jealous of the fact you have all your parcel shelf holders. I only have 4 out of the 6 and it rattles all the time!
The amount of people I've messaged on Facebook breaking cars for them not to bother is frustrating. Literally been about a year of tryingThanks mate!
And that what scrap yards are for
Haha nightmare. Next time I'm down scrappies I'll keep my eye out and give you a message if I find some..The amount of people I've messaged on Facebook breaking cars for them not to bother is frustrating. Literally been about a year of trying
I will take you up on that offer! The end result looks amazingWell when lockdowns are over you could come down here (chichester) for a day and we can make one for you?
Just to note i cant guarantee end result hahaI will take you up on that offer! The end result looks amazing
Payment in beer?
Thank you for your words and havnt quiet decided on what I want to replace with yet.. interesting to hear that though hahaSome great work there. I don't really like x-braces - but do like yours. That's good going!
When you say you need new wheel nuts you mean you are getting steel ones?
From my racing days I got the head scrutineer out to my house before my first race to check my car. I bribed him with beer and fuel money. He approved of my approach of making sure it was right - and told me they once sent some junior marshals round the pits with a magnet [just to get them out from under their feet] looking for [illegal for racing] alloy wheel nuts. "The mindblowing thing is", he said ,"they actually found some! There's some bloody idiots out there!"
My classic 911 actually has standard alloy nuts - but the thread diameter is much bigger than it would be for steel nuts.
Alloy nuts in place of steel just aren't safe, unless you have very long studs.
Steel it is then haha thanks ladsSteel only for me. Seen a couple of posts about cheap alloy ones going wrong and really can't be bothered with that...
Top work on this man, definitely adds a 'Clubsport' feel to the car. Keep up the good workSooooo its done.

Thank you! She's serving me well, just wish it had a bit of power now hahaLove your car.
Are these hard to remove, as if I knew I could get them on and off in one piece I would tackle taking them off and painting? Does the Mirrors need to come off?Been a while since I've posted, sod working on the car during the winter.
Update from today..
Cleaned up arches, lower control arms, rear trailing arms, brakes, painted, treated and undersealed. This winter wasn't a good one for the civic i do now have slight bubbling just above the side skirt

Yes I know I need new wheel nuts, I will get round to this haha.
Also the trim under the side windows really wasn't looking too good.. found new ones from Japan but wanted to try and save these ones before forking out over £150!!!
