my b20vtec ej9 build


nice job there mate, really nice. good results i think considerings its relativly standard.
as i am interested in doing a b20 conversion myself, is there any problems when putting the bottom end onto the b16a2 head? i.e. iv heard about the oil ports are slighlty different?? or is it a case on 'bolt on, thankyou please'! also can you run sc4 box with the block or do you have to run the gearbox from the cr-v?

2 questions mate;

What make are the alloys?
Is your car lowered?

I have a silver ej9, been looking for alloys and like how your alloys suit the car. Ain't looking to lower my car but really worried that 15's won't look good.
 
how much did they charge you for the tune? what software do they use?
 
Now you need a ITR intake manifold, cams and throttle body and run with 200 bhp!
 
realy good build well done to you im in the middle of building a b20 but im using the b18c manifold and head and box what softwear did you tune it on and what vtec conversion kit did you use

The head fits fine to the block if you use a conversion kit like golden eagle's. As for gearbox, sc4 is fine.

The alloys are from a ep2 and yes my car is lowered on coilovers.

That is the plan! Would of had them before the tune but didnt have the money for both and wanted tuned and running right a.s.a.p.

You will get awesome power with that setup m8! Just the itr cams alone make such a huge improvement. What block are you using? Mine has been tuned on Ectune.. and i used golden eagle kit and arp studs.
 
Changed the look of the car recently!
New wheels and full bumpstrips all round with SiR lip.

still got my spoon rep mirrors and jap size plate to put back on, and would love a spoon rear spoiler.
What you reckon?
 
Got some winter wheels (Rotas). Defo prefer them to the bbs, has a track stance about it!

slipstreams looking good her fella. how did you get on with the manifold, will a aftermarket b16a2 manilfold work?

Car looks awesome mate! Saw it at JAE but didnt realise it had a b20! Good work!
