yeah 13.5 is pretty lean... it does depend on what fuel your running too though...

Yes thats true...
moon, what octane is your daily pump fuel? Never tune it with octane booster unless you'll be using it every single time.
I remember you said your from malay, you never get cold air there do you? haha. 13.5 is not good for you. I'd stick between 12.5-13AFR for optimum balance between protection and power.

if you need a cheap octane booster you can use tolulene or Xylene
not sure, i think it was 3am when i typed that... im usually tup till 530am!!!
ehh.. i think its a 97ron.. gotta check again
yeap i m from malaysia. usually in the morning is cooling, but when its noon. hell its burning
have u heard of DYNO TAB? those are consider octane booster right?
i got it free. so jst using it currently.
so during dyno tuning. i should tune without using it right??

we've got dynotabs here, they don't have a good reputation here. I used to use them just to try it out. But didn't feel anything. The liquid types are good.
If your using STOCK ecu, then you should get close as possible to 100RON, as thats what it's tuned for.
If you've already got a tunable computer, just tune it the fuel that you will ALWAYS use. And make sure you stick to that fuel grade. It affects timings and could either make you run RICH or LEAN
basically, if you've tuned it running 95RON and you drive with 100RON, your loosing power and running RICH. And if you tune it with 100RON and drive with 95RON, youd be running very LEAN.
Are you sure 97RON? Since when did Malaysia get such high fuel grade? We got 98RON here and 100RON in sydney and melbourne. Fuel is so Fvcking expensive right now...its not funny.

Not sure if thats true... RON is just a measurement of resistance against detonation after all.
Higher RON just means you'll be able to run lean without detonation, but you'll still get the associated overheating and lubrication issues from the lean mixture. The O2 reading however shouldnt be affected by RON?
But 155whp is very impressive for a pretty much standard B16A. Which shop did you use?
From Malaysia also.

Yes it IS just a measure of resistance against detonation but dont forget it affects timings. So you loose power there.
well if your using an ecu thats tuned for 100RON and your using less than 98, you'll just run slightly lean. But 97RON is fine. Below 95 isn't good but all can be fixed with a fuel pressure regulator
^^Nice first post mate, good to see another friendly member...
Sorry to dig this out from the past, but 155WHP from a B16A with minor mods and incorrect fueling.
I highly doubt it.
155 Flywheel power more like it.
