Been on here ages but never posted pics so here they are.Its my 3rd ek9.I had a standard b16b pre-facelift then bought a stroked b16b facelift ek9 which i then sold to leek9 on here.Then i imported my 3rd one which was a b16b turbo,which i soon took out for another b18 because i way prefered the b18.
SPEC:
-00 ITRx b18c with just over 60000km
-s4c gearbox
-SPOON ecu
-5zigen 4-2-1
-Custom mid-pipe mith a 5zigen axle back
-Exedy clutch & fidanza flywheel
-PWJDM Kevlar intake
-Few carbon bits
-Have lowering springs but havent but them in yet.
Let me know what ye think.Its been in hibernation for the last 4 months so its not very clean in the pics.Also im thinking about going k20 soon so if anyone is interested in buying a MINT B18c let me know.
Also would like to thanks VTECH6000 on here for all his help in locating the engine & carrying out the swap.Sound man.

very nice. you have to go k20 mate you have had all the other engines in a ek9
 
hows john, u dumped the b pipe so? thats my old backbox:p il take the b18 if your actually selling up! (il need a test off it 1st tho lol)
its very similar lookin to my car now!

I took out all the baffles from the b-pipe.It was a very restrictive mid-pipe.Il know in about a week or 2 for sure whether im selling the b18.You can have a test drive anyway no bother.:nice:

I know.I got the idea into my head & about a week ago.Im just trying to work out how much it will cost.

I just prefer the b18 really.Kinda more fun if that makes any sense.On the road the b16 turbo was grand.It was an animal on juice though & a twin plate clutch is defo a no no for an everyday driver.Other than that it was great.You cant beat the b18 though(Maybe k20).

Nice car this. And a very fresh engine was only 35k on it I believe at time of fitting.

only bit i kept was the last piece with the back box on and replaced the two mid pipe section with straight pipe

not a fan of carbon lips but looks like a nice 9

plenty of poke too id imagine

Why go to the k20 engine?
Your b18c will make even power with some add-on's! Plus the money you will have to spent on putting in a k20.....you can also spent on making your b18 a lot faster!

I thought about building the b18 as well but i went against it.Might as well go k20 for the money.

Yep that's all that was on it. I remember when checking the valve clearances how clean everything was not abit of wear on the rocker arms or cam lobes. Made high numbers and equal across the board when I done the compression test, you would know to look at it and how well it pulls that it's a very low miles engine even the original t.belt I removed to fit new one could have been packaged up and sold again it looked so new lol.
