Moroso oil pan + spoon tape

Hi !

I installed my new oil pan this weekend, got a moroso with some baffle
for the track. Got a magnetic drain plug coming with it.

At the same time, I got some Spoon heat tape to stick on it
while it's brand new and clean.

Here a few pics before installation :




Should be a nice upgrade for the track event...

Got a got deal on ebay, 145US with the gasket and a free t-shirt :D

Sorry no pics after, I was too dirty to take pictures...
 
Can i assume that the spoon tape is heat resitant tape ????

This is the stuff I used before:

Don't recall what it cost but it was reasonable....and probably even cheaper than Spoon tape which is probably the same stuff anyway.
 
The spoon tape was 22US for 30cm x 20cm.
Just enought to cover 1 oil pan...
It stick really well on the pan.

I could have bought some other tape, but I got the
Spoon to make sure of the quality. The glue got to be
good to stay on a boiling oil pan :drive:
 
thats a very good price for an oil pan man!! bargain,, wonder if they do uk shipping
 
Got a picture when I was doing some work on my
brake...



If you ever buy one, make sure the supplementale plugs are tight...
I didn't check and I had a small leak.
