This is going to hurt, ALOT

2000-W reg Vesuvio red Honda Accord 2.2 Type-R

With being a fully qualified mechanic/M.O.T tester, i have maintained the car myself since purchase in April 05.

Whilst in my ownership i have spent a small fortune on her, thousands tbh, she has wanted for nothing and need's nothing, read through the buyer's guide and problem's section on the forum, i promise you this car has had all the known problem's and little niggle's sorted by myself at a large expense, previous to that the car had Honda service history.

Here goes:

76k miles from new (47k when i bought the car)

Taxed until the end of April 09 (Note this is a 2000 Pre-facelift, so no £400 a year tax like most facelift's

M.O.T'd until 26TH April 09 (I can and will put a year's ticket on it for the right buyer)

All usual extra's, Recaro's, LSD, Type-R fitted mats, E/W, E/M, Air conditioning.

Type-R wallet with all documents on the car's history.

Condition

Interior is in A1 condition
Body is in A1 condition
TBH i've become as **** about this as i am with maintaining the car
It gets washed at least once or twice a week, using wash mitt and two bucket method (dryed with water magnet)
Under bonnet and engine bay cleaned after washing the body
Clayed every 6 months
Polished every couple of weeks with AG SRP, then two coats of wax with NXT Tech wax (including wheels)
If i'm piccy, the bonnet and front bumper have a few stone chips and would benefit a little from a respray
The picture's of the car do not do it justice tbh, i'm sure some of the long term members on Accordr.org that i have met several times will vouch for the cars stunning condition

In short, this ATR needs nothing doing, and won't do for a long time imo

Why am i selling, well i've pondered this for months now, as good as this car is i think it's time for a change, it hardly does any miles now i have a daily driver, and i feel i have gone as far with the car as i can and is now the complete package so to speak.
I will no doubt regret selling her, but i have an itch i want to scratch, no doubt i will return to Honda once i've relieved the itch.
It's just a shame i have to sell my baby to afford another toy As i believe i will never find another one like this in terms of condition/maintainance/tastefull mods.

There are some cheap ATR's out there at the moment, but they are not a patch on this car, it took me 6 months to find it after looking at numerous other examples all over the country.
Most, if not all, will say the price is to much, but considering it's condition, mileage, and the fact that every known/commen fault has been rectified by myself, then this car is worth a premium imo.
It will cost you thousands if you buy an ATR without the commen faults fixed, FACT

I have been in the motor trade for 19 years, i am in no rush, or have no real need to sell, if she does'nt get any geniune interest i will just keep her. So no calling and offering me silly money, it won't wash, i've heard it all before, no road test's without proof of insurance for my car
(I will gladly take any genuine buyers for a test drive though)

I would be interested in a swap for the right car..........W.H.Y, try me

I am asking 6k

Car is located in Basingstoke/Hampshire
