Guys, is it anyone here had used or using Millers CRX LS 80w90 Gear Box Oil. Cos I just bought a 5 litre of ebay for 5 pounds^^ but I wanta to know, these oil are any good?

Competition semi synthetic transmission oil with friction modifiers for limited slip differentials. Incorporates “Nano Technology” additive chemistry to significantly reduce internal frictional and power losses, whilst providing additional shock protection to dog rings and gears.

Application: Use as received for lubrication of final drives with or without plate type limited slips. Specifically developed for use in non-synchromesh transmissions. Recommended for competition transmissions incorporating dog rings. Not suitable for synchromesh or overdrive gearboxes.

Anyone hav ideas??
cheers:bow:

I have never used it myself but from the description you have provided i would not be using that in our honda gearbox's!

It sounds like this is specific for DOG box's, so unless you have a dog box on your honda then i would steer well clean.

On a plus note £5 for 5litters is a barging!:D

ok, thx for the comment, Btw whats dog box? What cars are using dog box for the gearing?? Will it damage my stock gear box if I use them....

cheers^^

A dog box is a gearbox that has stright cut gears & dose not use synchromesh's like 99% of roard cars do!

Bog box's are use mainly in motorsport:secret:

If you want to read more about gearbox's have a look hear!
