Mellow Yellow EK9

I'm starting to love Yellow EK9 the more I see them, such a clean example

Coilovers, bronze ce28n's and a full exhaust system and its DONE! Very nice car all the same and looks clean :)

Update

The car has got its first proper modification this week. Heading to the Nurburgring shortly so decided to upgrade the brakes. Lots of options are available but went with EP3 callipers and 300mm Stoptech slotted discs.

So out with the old

The set up does fit under oem alloys without any spacers but is a very tight fit. I will be investing in a set of 16" wheels for the trip to Germany.

All the work was carried out by Automek and to say i'm pleased is an understatement. The set up feels awesome and stops very strongly.

I will still be keeping the car as standard as possible and don't have any plans for major upheavals. Honda did a good job :D

And here's Baird saying he'd never do EP3 brakes on an EK again haha! looks amazing, how you finding the difference?

Quality mert what wheels we buying ?

this ^^ ??

Still undecided. Limited time to make a decision but white Regamasters are top of my list at the moment. Pro Race Dynamics 1.2 are also being considered.

Almost unbelievable how he made this fit! They feel great. The car just stops!! Haha. Difference is immediately noticeable, but the pedal feel is surprisingly similar.

New brakes look good Martin! Let us know how you get on with them.

Should notice a difference in stopping power with the 300’s.

Impressed with the brakes fitting under oem wheels !! Don't suppose there's any pics of the process ?

Great mod, car still looks great!

Looking forward to seeing what wheels u go for!

Beautiful Y56 EK9!!! X2 on the want for pics and details on how you got the EP3 front brakes to fit??

Cheers Guys

There brakes feel good, but will keep the thread posted with how they feel on track etc.

Only pictures I have are the ones Andrew took, 3rd page of the thread. There is quite a bit of custom work to the calipers and carriers. It isn't a swap i'd recommend doing without speaking to someone who knows what they are doing. The measurements and positioning is something I don't know and i'd reckon there are very few folk who would.

Headlights have been freshened up. Massive thanks to Rd55 dun who polished them up for me. The lights cleared up suprisingly well. Good as new :)

Ross :thanks:
