Mattyssb's black caged ITB'd K24 EK9


Few things done today..

Cleaned the sump ready to fit the clockwise motion baffle.





Cleaned up the timing chain cover to paint. Mr muscle cleaned it surprising well!





Anybody know if B series ARP flywheel bolts will fit a K alright? i have a brand new set lying around, they look the same and ive screwed them into the K crank and they don't bottom out at all



Then on the poly bushing the front lower arms and rack

I've read B series flywheel bolts are ok to use Matt.. few guys in the U.S say they have used them without isssue... 2yrs + no problems..
 
Few bits sorted, exhaust manifold got dropped down from Spirit9 this weekend
Ktuned 4-1 race header with 3inch collector i believe.





Also got a Ktuned fanbelt tensioner for cheap so cleaned that up and just need to get the right bolts to fit it now

What's the benefits of the swivel thermostat housing ?
Saw them popping up when looking for a thermostat for my accord

Nothing really unless your k swap I guess. Can put the outlet at a better angle?
I only bought it because it can remove the heater pipes easily and was cheap second hand haha
 
Spent the weekend at the bodyshop sorting out the car ready to be painted black.



Ive got it back now, no pictures as of yet haha
But its looks 100x better in black

Had a few more parts turned up too

Also something a little bit speical, im not normally one for carbon but couldnt pass this up, looked so cool. Haha

Cant wait to fit this now :D

What black did you go for btw? I wasnt sure between gloss black or the oem black for mine :confused:
