Hi there. My oil pump failed on me which resulted in the crank being damaged. Anyway i have had the crank reground now, however the machine shop advised me to get .25/.25 bearings. Does anyone know where i can find these? Engine is B18C4, Location England (North East).... Any help much appriciated. Thanks
.25 doesnt sound right. if there measuring in inches thats one thick bearing and if its in mm's its paper thin which wouldnt make sense cause they took material off the crank.if they ground down your crank journals that much the crank is garbage. supply more info about what your shop did your your crank and what exactly they are recommending cause .25 bearings doesnt sound right or atleast i have never heard of a brand using those measurements.
heres a factory main and rod bearing chart.
