I have recently noticed, maybe physically or mentally, that the car is not pulling to the redline as hard as it should be. This could just be me, but i would like to do a little checklist, with your help, on what to check on.

The standard

- Engine Oil
- Spark plugs
- HT leads
- Dizzy cap
- Rotar arm

- IACV?

Looking forward to some input. :nice:

-valve adjustment
-dirty/gummy intake manifold innards
-plugged PCV
-changed the transmission fluid recently?

had a service recently, plus gearbox oil change.
i think its in my head aswell, but thought id open up a topic others may find useful

yeh you just got used to it. I recommend always run a Total fuel system cleaner additive once every 6-12months. I had recently installed a Hondata head gasket and noticed my 4th cylinder had **** on the intake valves. I had to scrape it off. I noticed that cylinder was noticably running rich because the port was slightly darker than the others... big effect!

think as said it may be because you have got used to the power , i have been using a works van for the past month and only used the car recently for the first time for a while and the car felt so much faster than it probably was but actually wasnt just because i was used to a 1.3 diesel fiat!.

hehe... na... just want make sure everything is running ok ;) Will change my car next year ;)
Thanks for the replies
