Hi lads just addeding to this, im gonna build a b20 not sure what head im gonna use yet,

cp pistons 11.5 comp
egale rods
ge conversion kit
arp head studs
b18c type r valvetrain
acl race bearings all
block guard
b16b crank girdle (not sure about the fit yet)
greedy emanage
port and polish head
98 spec b18c manifold
prob eyndyn pcv kit

hope all will go well with it anyone have any imput its welcome,

cheers jp

I wouldnt use Greddy Emanage to be honest. Its not that great...

Also if you`re going for a reasonable spec i`d get a B18c oil pickup/windage tray and oil pump too

e-Manage would be a waste on this motor.

I'm not a fan of the block guard either. But I know the sleeves aren't exactly the best - but I would consider pinning the block instead since the block guard isn't ideal for cooling.

The girdle will fit if you have it machined. Endyn also has a girdle.

If emissions testing is not a factor in your country, I would opt for the B&R catchcan kit over the Endyn PCV.

sweet raging, iv bought an emanage ultimate now lol, what do i have to get machined on the girdle, ya seen endyn's ones z10 also do one, been looking at getting a crank now to lol, what you rekon of a stroked b20 crank as its not advisable to bore them, iv heard of this pinning but not sure how to do it,

Most of what you're looking for is on Endyn's website.

I would sell the e-manage ultimate in a hurry.

would you whats would you use, what would i have to machine on the girdle.

the details of the girdle and how it would fit can be found on endyn's site.

If you choose to use the EK9 one, you will have to have the mains line honed with the girdle in place.

As for management - you should go with whichever one your tuner is most comfortable with. I haven't had the chance to use eCtune or crome too much, so my choice would be the S300.

looks pretty sweet, might see if i can utilize the standard one, machine it down so it will sit ontop of the standard caps and hold them together. the bill just get bigger and bigger lol

i still cant decide whether to go b20z or b18c in my jordan :( lol

just remember make your block strong especially the thread for head stud, its the weakest link of them all, weakest than the piston wall

Can i try on B20B3 stock engine a B16A2 (EK4) ECU? without problems?
I have Honda Cr-v and Civic :)

****, i should read this before i did mine.

actually my block is completely stock B20, the mechanic milled my head for 1mm, and i really don't know what cr my engine is now.

I was telling him i'm gett a P73 RS piston but he told me it is no needed, also the ARP stud and head bolts (i believed he put on the GSR's).

I asked the mechanic what CR (approx) it is now, and he said it is hard to tell (what the hell?). Anyone can make tell me? Thanks!

Hong Kong's retarded tuning strikes again.

I don't know why people keep giving these "car-tooners" any business whatsoever.

You're Chinese and you should be good at math.

Give these equations a go here and let us know what your idiot mechanic can't even figure out himself. And seriously LMFAO - milling the head 1mm without knowing anything about your piston domes - I guess it would be asking way too much for him to clay your motor to give you the maximum adv/ret. limits on your cam gears.

My advice is to run far away.... very far away and have him reimburse you for another stock head, should the compression exceed your tuner's range of comfort ...assuming you will be hitting the dyno after this.

I'm in deep **** already :nerv:

Anyway, thanks for the great info and i'll figure out the CR later. But I totally don't know if I should keep building this B20 then.

Do you know any shop in Hong Kong is reliable?

the vtec of my built b20vtec is not working/not engaging, any suggestions how to work this up
