LHD throttle cable on RHD EK?

Hi guys,

Since putting a b-series into my civic I've had a bit of trouble with the throttle cable sticking. Thinking it was an issue with the throttle cable itself I purchased another one off a breaker, of which was still sticking in the boot. In the end I decided to just purchase a new OEM one and (hopefully) be done with it. Problem was that I couldn't find anywhere that stocked a RHD cable, but I was reassured a LHD would fit so I went ahead and purchased it.

The cable's just arrived and just looking at it, and as I had kind of expected. it seems far too short. Can anyone tell me/show me a LHD cable on a RHD car just so I can get an idea of how it's routed. Or have I just been a fool and bought a cable that'll never fit?

Thanks

Goose

As expected the LHD didn't fit. Could anybody help me out with finding a new/good condition RHD cable?

I am also looking for a RHD cable for my ek9. And I need a supplier that will ship to the USA

Just read this thread, are you 100% sure it's your old throttle cable sticking, have you looked at your throttle body? I had the same problem thinking it was my cable, I ordered a new oem from honda and it was still sticking. I checked my throttle body and the part the cable connects to the the grub screw had come loose and it had a couple of mm play in it, so at part throttle the engines natural vacuum would suck the butterfly closed and was a real pain in the ass on the motorway and driving round town.
