well firstly welcome to ek9.org :)

well all i can suggest is try doing a re-map, or find a better mechanic, and finally practice makes perfect

good luck man

standalone and remap

and you say your running a 2.0 inch exhaust????

you should be running at least 2.50 inch if not more straight through

what times you getting?

what engine you had before?

You need proper dyno tuning, a simple chipped ECU will not be enough. You also need at least a 2.75" exhaust, with that kind of setup but 2.5" will do, 2.0 is just too small.

ups sorry forgot to put im getting a A'PEXi N1 Cat-Back Exhaust System is on its way and after that to the dyno.

My time is 8.8 on the 1/8 of a mile

Are you finding it hard to get off the line with new setup? i.e wheels are spinning to much. If so this wont be helping your 1/4 mile times. Maybe some better tyres are called for?

so in other words i need the 2.5 that's why is not performing well not enough space for the engine to breath.

Well ones i get the exhaust on i will report back to you guys to see if that made the big change.
thx a lot
if anybody thinks is something else i will be glad to hear it.

did you read my post? you need a proper dyno tune.

yea i agree an engine like that cant flow properly with 2" exhaust, gud your sorting that..

as said a good dyno and re-mapping will sort out dead spots man..if its done properly..

i dont rate standard chipped ecus ,hondata is the way to go..

hope this helps

Thx for the warning ill guess i keep riding my bike to work lol.
By the way if you guys know of a good dyno around naples flordia it will be a big help too.

:thanks::thanks:

dont expect a massive jump on an 1/8th of a mile

1/4 is what will show you the biggest gain

so get a 2.5 inch exhast straight through, decat and a hondata

should see over 40bhp with a good map with that spec over an OEM ecu and exhaust

yup....i once before use 2'' piping and its sucks!i change to 2.3" and i could notice the muffler sound a bit stronger brutal...so for your case go for 2.5" and tune back using dyno machine....
