Had clutch replaced a couple days ago I drove home and could hear a knocking noise when I hit a bump or manhole cover. I took wheel of and had a quick look nothing seems ti be loose around that area. However the bush from the steering arm looks a bit worn and I could wobble the steering arm and it made a metal banging noise. Is this where the noise is coming from and do I need to replace the bushes?

It's likely of it moves and makes a noise that's what your hearing.

Is it the tie rod end that makes the metal noise?

If yes: are you sure this noise was not there before you had the clutch replaced?
The mechanic that replaced your clutch probably disassembled the tie rod ends, to be able to get the drive shafts out more easily.
He might have damaged it?
Not accusing anybody here, just wanted to let you know.
