k20a in ek9


The Ac, power steering all that you have to change to the other side from ur riverside to the passangerside but you have to get a kit if you want to keep the AC and it runs like $800 I'll find out the name in a few I really really want to do the swap but I wanted it as my daily drive so that's why I'm taking everything in account but what I want is the k24a2 long block with the k20z3 head
 
88A are 'extreme race'! Depends on your usage I guess, see how you get on. Mine maybe the 70A I would have to check with Mike.


Thats an expensive AC swap kit, not worth it.
 
That's what I figured about the AC just wanted to know is there anything else can be done don't wanna lose the AC

Yeh sorry the 88A's are the extreme race and the spare 70A's I got just incase were the Race ones. My cars only really gonna be used as a track only car anyway.

Yeh think it might be the 70A you have if Mike supplied them.
 
On reflection haitch would you go for a K swap again or a well tuned B18??

If I wound the clock back, I would have bought a B18, bought the Jun 2.2 stroker kit or similar and left it with the tuner, I already had a close ratio box, so as I could carry on driving mine, its been like having a leg cut off for nine months.

Very happy with the car and big N/A tuning will be exploited next year, but I wouldnt do it again.
