K20 injectors and K-Tuned conversion hats.

Is there an accepted way to fit these. Is it preferable to trim the little hooks off the injectors, or machine clearance for the hooks into the aluminium hats?
 
I did this mod and if I remember well my tuner clipped off the hooks

They FINALLY turned up today (Seriously I would have just modded the OEM rail if I knew it would take Tegiwa almost 2 weeks to get them to me). I may still machine the spacers to accept the hooks yet, even though clipping them off seems perfectly acceptable and a lot easier :)

Can't say I'm blown away by the quality of these k-tuned parts.
