pricing up bits for doing a project on the car and i want to know how much are the k20 engines going for in engie with the ECU loom hubs gearbox the lot and were is a trustworthey person to get them off ?

We can find you all of this in the UK. I take it you want all this from a UK EP3?
 
when i was looking a few months back i just googled reconditioned engines, filed in a couple quote applications and they got back to me, best price was 2200 engine, box looms ecu and axles

just a quick browse on ebay i found a JDM ITR K20 for 3350.

try performance tec, tegiwa imports and jap performance parts.

if i were you id try and get hold of a K20 from a integra type R with an LSD. the JDM ones have a closer ratio box
 
Any fresh JDM engine from Japan now is going to be a lot more expensive because of the Yen situation. Only 18 months ago we were selling brand new FD2 engines for around £5k.

I would give Tegiwa a call and see what they have.
What is the ultimate plan with the car? NA or F/I? UKDM EP3 engine would be better for F/I due to lower compression. JDM LSD's are only around £550 brand new so its not so wallet damaging to go UKDM engine/transmission and fit the JDM LSD. While you are there, get a shorter gearset and final drive installed which will suit EG/EK:)

The K20 is still in high demand, popular with Exige/Elise conversions and now getting respect in kit cars too. Great engines.

going with the uk spec one want to turbo it later on so a little bit mower compression is better
