Im currently in the market for cams for my b20 vtec has anyone had any experience with these cams I was looking at the stage 3's but daily drive the car and was curious as to the idle and power characteristics of the stage 3's or would the stage 2's be more suitible ?

Jun 3's are pretty large cams, idle will be horrible rough, somehow i have a feeling Ragingangel has experience with these or knows more about them... my understanding is they are for all out builds 240+whp type builds with 12.5+ compression etc...

edit: make that 13+ compression if its staying 1.6

yea ive looked at the specs and looked around on different forums but some of the info is hard to believe and I feel that this site is more friendly an honest so.......

do u have any reccomendations on camsfor my setup ?im after another 30 hp or so on my b20 and I think this is possible with a few changes to the setup

I know Endyn cams are based off Jun stage 2 sizes; between Jun 2 and 3 2's would be more suitable for you.

I can't say I have extensive experience tuning JUN 3 cams, but I did have a lot of time behind the wheel of a DC2 that had a B20 under the hood with 13:1 compression and these cams. It's important to note that even if you don't have super high compression, you can still get these cams to work well for you.

The idle was more or less like stock so that's nothing to be really concerned about. It is a good cam, though there are others on the market now that will probably yield the same if not better gains at a fraction of the cost.

The Endyn bumpstix seem to be well received but I haven't actually seen a dyno of them before. Rocket cams appear to be the rage these days and people have been making great gains with them. The M22xx seems to be the one to get.

I know back in the day Jun3 or Toda D was the only option for big power NA, but yeah good point about Endyn Dino, i totally forgot that, i recall reading that in HT in an interview... Raginging Angel i agree, rocket seems the rage, he is cool guy too, i spoke with him on a few occasions, also the skunk pro series seem to be blowing up huge, seems like people totally forgot about how they used to brake all the time... I'm also surprised to hear they idle near stock, thats very impressive.

Jun 3 idle fantastic like standard idle....:nice:

Jun Spec 3 is alright, its idle just like OEM cams. If you want something really hardcore we have Jun SPEC 4 in stock, its special made by Jun for race car use only.
