Job in uk??

Hello m8s am from Cyprus for those who don't know!! The things over here gone from bad to worse especially with the big explosion we had lately here so am thinking of coming to uk to find a job and live there as my girlfriend sTudies in the uk!! My question is.. Can you find a job in uk easy?? Do they pay good?? Ll be somewhere near aber as my girl studies at aberstwyth uni and she has a home there

not being funny with you but alot of brits dont get jobs due to the eastern Europeans that are taking over who dont know how to speak English and will do the job for peanuts.

You definitely want to be coming to a job , not coming looking. What is it you do ?? It depends on what you are qualified in , if it is a skill sector that is in desperate need of people. I wouldnt say you dont have a chance but have a good look round

Hmmm..thx guys!! Well I almost do all the jobs as I worked in many places till now but I guess you are right ll have to look for a work before coming over otherwise it will be a failure!!! But am mostly looking for engineering or something similar that has to do with automotive

If you're willing to work for your money there's jobs all over the place. I know plenty of folk on the dole who claim there is no jobs. People want to be paid silly money to do f#ck all, that's what's wrong with this country.
Blaming in on eastern Europeans is just being racist, they're willing to work for their money whereas others are not, simples.

I disagree. My last job, I worked 14-15 sometimes 16 hours a day 5-6 days a week because I enjoyed it, in the end we got some new personnel as work load increased - who I trained up, and they ended up taking my job.

During my 13/14 months there, I took 2 or 3 days leave due to familiy reasons aswell. I never moaned, I seriously enjoyed that job.

I guess this is where english people get their racism from I guess? Which is fair enough I suppose. (I'm no racist either).

it depends on how determined you are on getting a job, I just started my new job last week but it was very hard finding one, not only that like previsouly stated the costs of living in the uk has risen so much in the last 2 years that no one wants to do the low paid jobs anymore etc

but whatever you decide goodluck
