Cheers for the input steven, much appreciated. :))

Last time ill buy anything from hr, they wont replace my broken rad which they sent me.

Some build man....cant wait to see this at the ring though :nice: im like a wee kid all excited about it haha

WHAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTT!!!!

PM EK9.org JDM EK9 Honda Civic Type R Forum - View Profile: t.schultz and direct him to the thread, give him a chance to explain why they won't replace a faulty item :wow:

Mate I already did pm him way before I posted that up. I sent him all the pictures and a video explaining it all.

He said they dont offer a warranty and I will have to contact griffin for repairs (he said i should get it welded/repaired locally) .. I asked for my money back or a replacement to be sent out and havnt heard back since.

I said if I dont get either my money back or replacement sent out, this will be going in HR's rep thread as I cant believe this is even happening. Also ill be posting on HR's main website..

Bloody brilliant

They should be offering you a replacement. There is NO excuse for this BS. This is 100% their problem; not yours. What a complete joke... It's not exactly like there cheap as well. You'd half expect it off Tegiwa, BUT even they would offer to replace the item at their cost.

If you have to send it back make sure you get your postage costs refunded as well. Honestly, this isn't your problem.

Imagine taking no responsibility to a product you have sold, and has been made with a fault. Instantaniously a exchange or a refund should be offered. If not at least offer the value of money to repair the product. Did not expect this from a company of this reputation.

Just goes to show you don't always "get what you pay for"
tegiwa much cheaper and if it leaks they replace it. Shame they've got this stigma attached to them really. They're obviously better than the company you bought that rad from!

Dam, thats shite! to not take responsibility on a brand new item! I dont understand why these companies have these brain farts, no excuse for it!

Sadly I still havn't heard back from them :(. Like I said, Ill just post my experience on their site and here to reflect how I feel.

Car is all done now anyway, pretty impressed I must say. Although when turning the wheels grind on the arches a little - front end is solid, literally no give in the suspension.

Will have to put overfenders on the front in order to pass the mot for the ring trip, but that can wait for now.

This is as much of my finger i can get in.. Think I put all these dub boys on air to shame? :))

Steering is soo twitchy, think its the combo of the unevenly worn tyres and 1h spent trying to straighten up the tracking lol! New rubber for the ring though.

I think a little update is in order to be honest! Had the car mapped the other week (will upload the graph when I get it), went for a moderate 200whp.

With the front wheels being so wide... Overfenders would of worked, but I was given a more - elaborate option to choose from! :nice:

Before arch work:

The guys at AME know contacts who used to work with the mid/late 90's super touring cars and they'll be doing the arch work on my ek9 :win: - some of the actual cars they worked on...

Once the arch work and mot is done this/next week, she'll soon be around Knockhill again - certainly caaant wait. :nice:

looks wild dude. have you given it full maximum?

Good choice getting the aches done instead of buying overfenders, most after market fenders have poor fitment and require a lot of work to get straight.

Are they going to cut the rear fenders as well or just pull and fold?

I would rather pay a little more for it to be done properly in my opinion - just the way I am i guess.

Hell, I actually have no idea how he's going to approach arches - One thing I'm not clued up on is arch rolling etc etc.

Guess I will have to wait and see! :nerv:

The fronts stick out 1-1/2", anyone have any ideas on how it'll be done lol? It's alot to work/pull I think.. ?

once you get some camber on there it will help!

with full slicks and such a stiff setup with a cage you should be running at least -3.5 degrees camber up front
