I have read alot of the posts and information and know that the JDM EK9 exhaust can be fitted to the UKDM EK4 if a JDM cat / decat pipe is used.

But my confussion lays in the collector!

How does it match up if if the UKDM manifold is 2.25" and the JDM is 2.50"???

I would fit the JDM exhaust manifold too, but I can't afford that right now and also, with the car due to be fairly low to the ground soon, I don't want the manifold to foul on the road surface / speed bumps etc...

Please help me so I can make a choice on exhaust systems! lol

why not just by an aftermarket 421 manifold with a 2.5" collector?

Can't afford that at the moment as well. :(

Getting coilovers and exhaust on Monday 7th April.

Will get new manifold after that when I have a few more pennies.

Yea...I have been having a scout about on there.

I am just unsure if the collectors will be an issue on EK4 manifolds (stock or aftermarket). :(

if you're wondering if it's going to fit... going from a 2.25 outlet to a 2.5inch inlet...no, it will not. At least not properly.

You either run the EK4 header + cat-converter for the time being hooked up the EK9 b-pipe ...or... well..that's your only option for the moment :p

I can't use the EK4 cat as it will be too long for the EK9 B Pipe.

I think I have it sorted now anyway.

Thank you all.

When people refer jdm decat, it can mean 2 things. The length and the collector diamater.
Regarding your exhaust, i can see in the for sale section you are interested in the 5zigen.
If you decide to purchase, all you would need is jdm length decat with a collector size of 2.25'' ukdm.

an adjustable one will be fine m8. However, try Wizard performance as i think they sell theirs cheaper and its still an adjustable length.
GL :)

That one in the link is out of stock! :(

Checked Ebay too, but couldn't see any.

Bought one from Tokyo Express instead.

Delivery Friday hopefully.

Hope it's the right thing.
