interior paint code

i was wondering if one of you guys with a civic type r can check your interior paint code for me please(it should be on the door jam) i wanted to paint my us version civic interior this color since i am building a replica thanks guys

x2, interior color code refers to the color of the interior, like gray or dark gray. But it sounds like he wants to paint the car

i think you have it wrong vtec. vouge silver was never a EK9 color, it dont think. and its phoenix yellow, not sunlight yellow (phoenix yellow is my favorite . phoenix yellow paint color code is:

Y56(S)
5639PPG

just do a google search for honda color code or honda civic color code. there is a website that that will show you PPG paint chips with the corresponding color code, but i cant remember.

first off thanks for reading and replying but to be more specific I was looking for the color code of all the interior panels ( blinx9900 knows what I mean) a as the dash, door panels, speaker covers, and such... well thanks again fellas

I think you using the word "paint" is confusing people, what your after is the "interior color code" post a photo of your door with the sticker and ask others to do the same, this way you will get the answer your looking for

No mate the 4 official colours for the ek9 are as from honda

champ white
starlight black
vouge silver
sunlight yellow

phoenix yellow is the paint name for the usdm integra type r ,and vouge silver WAS an ek9 colour Bucc-i my friend

sunlight yellow (Y56) is the same colour as phoenix yellow but sunlight yellow was the offical honda colour name for the yellow ek9

IHenry, painting your plastic interior panels is a bad idea. It would easily be scratched and theres good chances of drips. Carefully preparing each panel and then dying them black is the way to go if you don't want to buy all the panels. Search Honda-tech or something for a write up. I don't think having the exact shade of black that real type R's have will matter too much, nobody will notice.

For those with type R's, the door jam should say interior type " ". USDM hatch colors are type K (dark grey) and type F (light grey).

i wouldn't paint them my self. just get the "K" Dark Grey interior and call it good...
