insurance on a vti at 18

Right i have been driving for about 8-9 months and i am looking at buying a vti and i was wondering if anyone knew any where that i could get insurance on one???

well i just turned 19 (like 10 days ago ) and i just got myself a civic jordan insurance was 1300 with 2 years experience and 1 years no claims was rather good i thought as i was quoted 1200 to reinsure my ej9 1.4 haha but yeah i went with elephant (uk) so wasnt too bad for a group 16 car think vti's are a group 15

man thats quite a good quote, might have to give elephant a ring when renewal comes round. You got any mods on it? declared?

craig why not just wait till you are driving for a year. then maybe you will have a years no claims. wud bring it down a wee bit for a vti. i was £1200 fully comp on my dads insurance when i was 18 for my vtis

Old thread now but i got it down by not declairing any mods and only doing a low yearly mileage and saying i was a computer technician which i kinda am :S but they screw us over so im screwing them over , besides if i crash im not going to claim ! and if someone crashes into me i will just say i dont want them to pay for the mods
