Unfortunately crashed my ek9 last night (sorry :(:()
Spoken to the insurance and they say it's likely to be written off, pretty bad front end damage and some rear.

Front bumper smashed
slam bar smashed
Lights smashed
OS suspension turret warped and the chassis in front of it is damaged,
OS rear quarter buckled
Bonnet damaged
Rear bumper smashed
Tow point bent/torn
Boot lid damaged,
OS rear arch behind the quarter panel doesn't look right either,

Cars insured with sky has anyone had to deal with a claim through them?
They are sending an assessor out to look at it just wondering what value I should be expecting for a preface ek9, I paid 4k for it just shy of two years ago. I had this car listed for a bit over this a few weeks ago and had a lot of interest. Someone was meant to be collecting it on Monday actually.
Also how do you go about buying it back? and how much would that be likely to cost?

Cheers Alex

You will prob get around 4.5k back all depends on market value. They will want around £600 from you to buy it back I would say.
The assessor will view the car wherever it's held and send report to insurance.

Probably more than 600. Its usually a percentage and its higher for a d than a c.

My saab was 1800 buy-back on £5300 value. I kept it. Best car I have ever owned.
