Hi Guys,

I have a Spoon ECU that's labeled 37820-PCT-003, that's the same part number as the B16B ECU right. Or was that part number also used for JDM Integra Type-R ECU's?

I have an old pic of the spoon ECU label.

You yourself actually sent me that pic.

Sure mine is 004 and has ek9 on the seriel number, will check when I get home

I've just done a bit more research and I'm now a 100% that this is B16B EK9

LOL, thanks mate... now I'm 110% sure...

There are two 003 and 004... the key is the PCT bit which is basically Honda's Part number code for B16B. If this was for B18C it would say P73.

Where you running your B18 with that before you pulled it apart?

this is my spoon ecu, i dont know if its genuine or not

P2T is not a B16B ECU!!

It's for EK4's I believe. For EK9 B16B you need a PCT ECU! ;)

right.

the ecu works fine.

its very responsive and aggressive on vtec.

Fair enough mate, it's possible that fuelling could be off though seeing as it's designed for the B16A which could be bad for the engine in the long run.

Of course it could be fine too, just trying to give you some info... :nice:

Personally that's what I'd do for peace of mind.

A tuned ECU is always going to be better but you can't beat these ECU's for plug and play improvements. :)

YES you need a PCT ecu,,

i wouldnt risk running the wrong ecu in your car, you have a brilliant engine, would be a shame to ruin it if this ecu caused it to underfuel or pre ignite for instance.....
