Hi I found a cheap back box on eBay from Hong Kong its only £26 with free delivery but im not sure if theres import fees to pay??

I did look online and it says I dont pay duty charges because the product is under £135

Has anyone ordered anything from Hong Kong before?
Thanks Nik

Are you sure the shipping is free. That can't be right ? And they work it out on the total value and shipping fee I think. I've been charged import duties on things less that £135 before. I would just make sure get more info on the shipping charges first dude.

You can be charged VAT but you won't be charged Import Duty. I've ordered loads of stuff (not car related) from Hong Kong and never been charged anything, I'm not sure if they just mark everything as a gift or mark the price down or whatever... Even if you do pay VAT it will be a few quid only....

I was surprised as well It even says in the description that shipping to the UK is free but I did message the sell to confirm and to see if there ant any import fees

Okay good to know I did look on this website that tells you import fees for different countries and it said it was £5.20 for an exhaust from Hong Kong to the UK
Thanks

The seller just sent me a message back and said he passes it through as less than 20usd so theres no extra tax. He also said his never had a UK seller complain about extra fees :)
