What is the size of the Import Number Plates?!

330mm Wide x 156mm High

330mm Wide x 165mm High

330mm Wide x 178mm High

330mm Wide x 203mm High

Yep 12" X 6" USA size plates do the job fine. If you get the 13.5" X 6.5" they just lool tooooo big.

I didnt bother with a front number plate for about four years, I kept blagging it, then when I couldnt overturn a ticket I put an import sized one on, but then half a year later another county told me it was illegal so i took it off and never bothered with one after that I just sold the car...

I don't understand some people, why don't they just stick a license plate on to prevent the hassle of getting pulled etc

Was going to get a set made on demonplates.com

Wanted a certain style of lettering and a lil slogan on each plate too.

USA Plates wont fit a ek9 without drilling an extra hole, I really don't know the size really, just to let you know...
 
get in touch with john@privateimports.co.uk he's who imported my car and he can also get import plates made up for you, he also works for the dvla as well as importing cars so the plates are deffinately legal :nice:

I will be sticking them on and not drilling them, so that wont be an issue. ;)

Also...I am not worried about the leagalities of the plates etc...

I have been putting 'custom plates' on my cars for years and only ever had 1 copper say something. But the plates stayed on and nothing was done about it.

But thank you all for your concerns and help.

arite mate i got mine from demonplates.com great service and arrived next day

they were 330mm Wide x 178mm High and fit perfect

no problem . yeah the plates are of good quality ive had them on my 9 for 2 months and no problem so far anyway and the service from demonplates.com was great as well cant fault them in any way .
 
Import plates are 12x6. We do them for £18 a set delivered next day to your door. Any font any style. Will do show plates or legal ones you just tell us what you want.
 
just got some number plates from your site look forward to seeing them hope to have them for japshow this weekend :)
