Ok so I have just rebuilt my b16a2 head with new Brian crower stage 2 cams, valve springs and retainers also skunk2 cam gears. I cannot get the car to a good idle and I know I will need it mapped but just seeing if there is a way to make it better for its MOT on Monday. Basically what is happening is I can only set the idle to 200rpm or 1500rpm. Nothing inbetween. Could it be the cam gears needing adjusted? They are currently at zero just now. Or any other things I could try for the moment until I get it mapped? Would be much appreciated! My spec is as follows-

BC stage 2 cams
BC valve springs and retainers
Skunk2 cam gears
Skunk2 pro series inlet
Password jdm whales pe*is induction
Mugen 4-2-1 mani
Decat
Spoon b-pipe
Standard backbox

Thanks

Also I should mention is the engine was running fine with no issues before doing any of the head work and there are no air leaks

You need to get the cam timing set correctly, then set the ignition timing,
See how it runs then
