i need help

guys.. i've finally installed a jdm b18c into my ek3.. currently i'm running it with my retuned (rechiped) b16a ecu.
i can't afford a standalone ecu so my options are 1) vafc2 or 2) e-manage blue

they both cost the same but i can't make up my mind which one to get.

a little help guys.. and pls let me know which would u guys choose and why.

IMO i wouldnt use either because you can adjust your AFR but you cant adjust your timming to suit!
Why dont you just run a stock B18 ECU?

the e-manage has an additional ignition harness which allows ignition mapping.

my car is currently using obd1 wiring thats why i can't use b18c ecu.

In that case e-manage FTW!
But i dont have any experience with it so i dont know how good it is!

do not buy emange its horrible. just buy the conversion harness and use the stock ecu

It works in a pinch...but I echo the same feelings towards it.... it's really not all that good considering what's available out there for Honda.

As i said

i dont have any experience with it so i dont know how good it is!

I didnt relise they did a conversion harness for obd1 - obd2a/b
So agen IMO run a stock ECU or somthing like hondata!

i'm actually planning on the s300 but currently i'm short of $$ due to the eng. conversion.
so the piggyback is temporary.
or should i just retune(rechip) the old od1 ecu]
