Hey guys..

my 6 or so month old Spoon manifold costing me £900 has been hit underneath and has slightly flattened it.

the car isnt even low anymore, which is annoying as I cant raise it anymore!

Is it possible for example to cut half into the bottom 2 pipes, and get 2 more halves welding as such (just encase this gets worse or even worse actually pierces!)

Also at a guesstimate what would my manifold be worth now considering the slight damage underneath?

Upload some photos, it's easy to identify how bad it is.....but if it's just a small dent you should be able to pull it off without need to cut and weld....... If it's too damaged maybe the best choice is to cut the entire flat part and weld a new pipe on that section, make sure you keep the inside diameter the same as the spoon one.. to protect it a little bit you can weld a skid plate, go to the for sale section and see the feel's manifold on this ad that have a skid plate like I told you..... put a large and thick plate to protect it a bit more.......

good luck mate......if you wanna come to Portugal I know a guy that can fix your manifold in a couple of hours.....

I have seeked some advice from a few fabricators I know it is nothing for my to worry about.

I should have explained better, this was done in roadworks, I hit a dip on the road, the car isn't low.

Easy to cut and weld
I did like 3 with the same damage in like 1 hour..
