@ irishmantomo: I don't think Haitch was trying to be rude. He, like all of us, is passionate about EK9's, and by extension this forum as well, and so doesn't want to see them ruined by chav's. And, usually, the people who use 'txt' language are one and the same burberry wearing wallies.
 
More subtle comments have been made previously. When I joined the forum over two years ago, text talk was non existant, and it seemed only a handful of Irish members.

Now there are a few hundred Irish members, and unfortunately a large handful of them persist on using this childish form of communication, giving the rest a bad name, 'dat', 'de' and 'der' are very popular amongst others.

Its not only the Irish so dont get upset and think its a vendetta. The reason above, plus as James comments - this is an International forum, and many struggle to read this rubbish.

If I was you I'd give the owner a call. His advert is rubbish, see if he talks as much bollocks as he writes.

Ask him what springs and retainers were used, what stage and series the cams are, when Skunk2 started making pistons, what management he's using, who did the work, receipts etc. and see if you get any sensible answers.
 
Rubbish? Difficult to tell, without driving it or seeing it in the flesh, some detailed pictures (or a link?) would help others to help you though, along with the history. Does the seller have a price advertised?
 
The problem with text spelling, is you don't find these posts when you do a search, as the search function doesn't translate normal spelling into text spelling.
 
The car looks like ass. Id steer well clear.
 
Seen the car in person, if you have any real interest in buying an EK9 this one

wouldnt be it IMO and probly everyone else on this forum. This is a forum for EK9 enthusiasts, if you'll do some reading on hear you'll soon see that.

On the other hand if you are a boy racer who wants something fast, knock yourself out and get down there fast and buy it before another fool does.
Its a ruined car, the cheapest EK9 in the country usually tells its own story.

i'm no expert but that car looks like it has had front end work done on it judging by the pictures, the passenger light is badly off line with the bonnet and with the bumper, the grill is well cocked out at the bottom too. also they're not ek9 headlights, they look more like ej9 or ek4.. just an opinion

Glad to hear you put it off. I have seen this car in person in Cork. Always looked rough badly needed some TLC. Driven by a boy racer around on Patricks st.

There is plenty of ek9's on donedeal and there going very cheap! Some very clean ones
 
Haitch if u cant understand english the you probably belong some where else. i believe this was a question about an irish car and hampshire is not in ireland and i answered a question to irishmantomo so it didnt concern you

@dalylimk. Its lads like you that are giving the Irish a bad name on here with the text talk. Im originally from Dublin and i found it very hard to understand what you were talking about. I agree with Hiatch, Jimbob and the rest of the guys from England so dont feel like your being picked on by them. Im only on this forum a year or so but i see a lot more text talk now than i did when i first joined up. Threads have been posted before about this as it really annoys a lot of members on here including myself as people have to read a post several times before they understand it! Irishmantomo posted a thread asking opinions on an Ek9. That includes everybody on this forum whether they are Irish, English, or any other nationality! Maybe when you are a few years older you might realise that what they were saying was right and not feel like they were picking on you.
