Looking for a bit of advice more than anything. After nearly 2 years of frankly great ownership I've decided I'm going to sell my EK4 vti. Value wise I'm unsure what it's worth though. Here's a checklist, if anybody has any idea of a ball park figure I should be looking at that would be wonderful.
1997 P reg
Honda Civic vti 1.6 EK4
Cypress green
92,000 miles
FSH
HPI clear
In my ownership it has had the following replaced/repaired:
Exhaust system, currently has a spoon N1 backbox, standard one will be put back on the car and sold with the car. N1 will be sold separately.
Both front springs.
Both front drop links.
Rear ARB drop links.
Rear ARB reconditioned.
Drive shaft greased on last MOT.
Drivers side Head lamp bulb.
New Battery.
Two new front tyres, Dunlop sport's.
Problems:
Small bit of rust on passenger side rear wheel arch.
couple of small dings and scratches.
Barring the small issues, the car's in good condition and drives straight and true and the engine and gearbox are very healthy. The B16A2 hasn't burnt a drop of oil over the past couple of months and it pulls like a train when vtec kicks in.
I was thinking something around £1500-£2000.
Reason I'm selling up is I haven't been able to get a job in uni this year and with field work in Spain, Lake District this year I need money to go on the field trips otherwise I'll fail the year.
Anyone have an idea of roughly how much I should be selling it for?
