cheers guys, mum said that docs say he`s quite badly fractured his skull and has some other minor injuries but still not too sure of his condition but he`s been admitted into the nerological ward to monitor it further through the niight so hopefully they can help him.

Horrible **** mate wouldnt wish that on anyone. Feel your pain man have a good mate who is now quite badly disabled due to head injuries in a car crash.

Im pretty sure if any of us was in the same situation you would do the same.

absolutely, i wouldn`t wish this on any one. he`s fractured his skull in 3 places, cracked his eye socket behind the eye and broken his cheekbone.. but still waiting for more results and no word on his condition yet so it`s still very hazy.... but thanks once again, as he cant, i will thank all of you on his behalf and he would really appreciate all the kind words as he`s always peeking over my shoulder and commenting on your cars.
 
doc`s say their going to take him off the muscle relaxants and see how much he can move tomorrow and if they think he`s up for it remove the respirator ad see if he can breathe on his own, i suppose it`s a good thing that they think he`s up to it, but it could still show some devastating effects so it`s hard to know how to feel, im anxious to make sure he`s ok and see if he`s going to make a good recovery, but so worried that it might show some really bad news....
 
the docs took hime off the muscle relaxants for 20 minutes this morning but decided that he`s a little bit too warm so they are going to cool him down and try again, the bleeding has slowed a fair bit and he`s looking alot better but still not awake and still no word wether he`s on the mend or not but as they say... no news is good news i suppose...
 
Indeed it is mate. Bet this is absolute hell for you and your family. All the best man. Hope he pulls through ok :)

GREAT NEWS GUYS !!!!! little bro was taken off all the drugs through the night, and when my parents got there this morning he was sat up, he`smoving and he`s talking and the best bit of all is that he`s got no memory loss atall and knows who we all are!!!! so so happy. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR THOUGHTS, PRAYERS AND KIND WORDS, YOUR ALL GREAT PEOPLE AND I WISH ALL THE BEST FOR ALL OF YOU. AND PRAY THAT NONE OF YOU EVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS!!!
