1. mate the header to the exhaust
2. Finish the Battery relocation. with grounds and positive to the starter and alternator
3. complete fuel setup
4. Cooling radiator
4. engine harness
5. start!

some serious work going on there!!

Yeah man is a really fun and educative experience till now.

Wired the battery and interior yesterday and also mounted the tractionbar and fuel setup.

Finally got to lock my car with the alarm transponder.

Verder mog n updatje.

Eindelijk gestart en n rondje gemaakt..na heel wat geklooi!
Hier t verhaaltje voor wie geïnteresseerd is:

Had alles ingeplugd en wel 3 keer gecheckt switch on.. immobilizer ging niet uit..
dat gefixed...harde fout code niets bewoog in de motorruimte alleen de relais klikten.. verder niets..
Geprobeerd met de Wireworx en ID200 injectoren..niets
Met de OEM kabelboom en OEM 310cc injectoren... weer niets

Kut dacht ik..K-pro gesloopt.. alle bedrading(vooral de grounds) weer nagekeken.. weer geplugd niets..

Was zaterdag met mn neefje naar jappower en had gereageerd op n K20A die tekoop stond op MP.

Onderweg naar Jappower; reageert Craig en gaf me n mooie prijs; dus de PRC meteen opgehaald en Craig me ook heel wat tips en trucks over de K swap gegeven.

Terug naar huis getest.. t zelfde/ Yes!!! dacht ik scheelt me dus n KPRO

Uiteindelijk na alles weer los en vast te maken heb k t gevonden..

Was dit kut veiligheids- ding.. wat k zeker 100 keer al had ingedrukt..


De hele zondag alles weer in elkaar gezet,uitlaat gelast en getest.
Moet wel nog wat kleine dingetjes doen.

Was zo tegen 10 u klaar. Maak morgen wel n filmpje en wat meer fotos was echt uitgeput.

Ps. voor ik m starte natuurlijk +- 1 minuutjes zonder coils aangesloten laten draaien om de smering opdruk te brengen XD.
 
Some small updates:

Driving around for 2 weeks now and been vtecking for 2 days.
All I can say that IVTEC is not VTEC.
Somehow the B and H series I've driven where more of a kick.

The 2KCC IDS are idling perfectly at 750 rpm they really out did themselves with these injectors.

CC Twinplate (750 HP version) broken in already.
Tip! This clutch sucks for daily driving butttt.... it grabs like a motherfocker
Since I lowered my HP goal from 600 to 400 hp i could have gone with a singleplate and smaller injectors.

Till so far no excessive smoke from the exhaust (piston rings and valve seals still in good shape)also tested compression and its spot on.

Soo.. I' want to push it some more months and then Rotrex!

The only thing that annoys me is that my O2 sensor high voltage code pops up every now and then..cant find any solution for it yet..

Am going to weld in a flange for a CAT and next week Wednesday I'll have the engine matched to my chassis by the traffic authority.

is it bolt on (subframe) or need some modification on shell? what steering column are u using at the moment 6gen or 5gen civic? i'm planing to do the same swap this winter :nice:

Yep its 100% bolt on.
Out of my head you'll need.
1. the complete EG/DC subframe, complete lower cas and steering rack with rod ends and optional swaybars with endlinks.
2. All the EG/DC subframe to chassis bolts.
3. the EG/DC steering rack to steering column coupler.
4. the EG/DC front shock forks

you can even use it with your current D and B series engines you then need a D or B series EG/DC rear t bracket.

rest is plug and play,

Update,

Replaced the O2 meter.. I still get O2 sensor high voltage error..
and only when idling when going WOT it goes out.
Till I start idling or cruising...

Can any Kpro/K20a swap expert help me out on this?

PRA, KPRO III; I also cant enable O2 heater or I get heater circuit malfunction error.

The only thing I can think of is that my K swap conversion harness is wired wrong for my application.

Already contacted Mike from Ktuned and one thing I noticed is that one wire, chargelight, is missing and from the 100 times I had to plug and unplug it I pulled 2 wires out of the plug.
He offered to repair it if i send it to him.. 3 weeks for it to arrive and 3 weeks to get it back IF he can repair and send it back the same day..so 6 weeks downtime for a incomplete and damaged harness.

Not a option for me.
Bought a new k conversion harness from Xavier@Wireworx and it will be shipped to me on Monday.

So I hope I can get it by next week and hope its the harness from Ktuned/Rywire thats bad.
Else I don't know anymore...

Going to email Hondata and CPL also if they have any ideas.


Hondata has a description of the PRS and PRB/PRC O2 and heater circuits..but I dont get it.

Hi Guys,

The problem is fixed by "use secondary 02 sensor for closed loop operation".

Can anyone explain to me why this is so and what is happening exactly?
Because nothing is connected my the 2ndary O2 sensor plug and if I enable the O2 heater I still get a heater circuit malfunction.

also some updates:

Had the Ktuned header fitted to the OEM DC2 Cat-back im running.
Had a test-pipe and high-flow CAT welded in and bolted up to.
Need that for the test it has to go thru coming Thursday.
Tested last friday vs a B16a2 sol and a B18C EJ coupe...
Was 1 car infront of the SOl and 2 cars behind the EJ..
Not really happy but..checked the datalogs and was running rich as hell.
An I also get 230KM on a full tank.
Plan was actually to run this map untill i got a 3 or 4"exhaut and the rotrex and then have it dyno tuned.
But ill check what ill do

EK3 with a 149KW 2L K20A2 XD
Gave the Chassis and engine codes from the donor and block and the guy found all the information about the ex EP3 from the UK database.
Ill get the new papers in 3 working days XD

Was a real chill guy:
Since my car is pre 1 jan 98 (10-97) I got the cheap and mostly visual €53 check instead of the €750 if was 1 jan 98 or younger XD
He checked the engine mounts, hoses, for leakages and the battery relocation.
He only remarked that the battery needed to be secured better and i needed to put a self locking nut on the rear mount and said after that :"smartly and cleanly done".
and stamped the approved stamp on the paperwork XD

Update:
extracted and replaced teh tesnsioner bolts with higher grade SS Bolts

Last Saturday i went to do some drag races and the flexpipe started leaking internally after the 1st run..


Mailed Ktuned that i want a refund for their crappy header and this is what they replied:
"
Our policy for broken flex pipes is to offer a higher quality Vibrant Turbo Flex that can be welded in place of the broken one.

Answered that he can send it up and that I want the costs to weld it in back from them.
2 weeks daily driving with not more then 10 400m sprints and the flexpipe went bad..

1. Got my WireWorx k conversion harness in and swapped it for the Ktuned/rywire one.

This harness was plug and play on my Wireworx engine loom and has the aux wires and NOS wiring extra in it.
But.. it doesn't power on my main fuelrelay...
Emailing and sending pics to the maker trying to troubleshoot it..

2.After 5 months i finally got the 2 missing chasebays brake-line tuck wires in..
Took me only 5 months, 1 paypal dispute and 2 emails p week...

3. Am busy making a 3" header back system that flows and is as quiet as possible at the same time

4. Me and ma bud scored a AP1 cluster this morning xD

5. Also had a tuning appointment for the 25th but i moved it until I get a 3" exhaust and/or i sold my Kpro...
Want to go with the AEM V2, but if it doesn't sell ill just stick with the Kpro.

6. Also decided to get rid of the rust and go face lift.
Since 2nd hand OEM parts are hard to get and Brand new OEM cost a fortune ill just buy imitation..
Ill only use the OEM lips and Grill cause the imitations differ allot.
This also means ill have to move rotrexing to next year...

7.Almost for got that i plumbed and wired the EHPS also...

Only thing is that after 5 mins of running the pump it forces my steer to the right.. while im standing still even..
I routed the hoses correctly high pressure to the high pressure in..
low pressure to the reservoir.. and the 2rd low pressure return plugged..

Does anyone know what going on or had the same problem?
I think somethign is going wrong with a return valve or something..
